LASER LEAGUE REVIVAL / PLAYER GUIDE

Play offline.

Local matches, bots, and the original game menu. No server connection needed once the Windows client is installed.

01 / Open offline play

  1. Install or update the Windows client to windows39 or newer. First-time installation needs an Internet connection.
  2. Close any running game or web launcher using Quit launcher.
  3. Open your installed game folder and run PlayOffline.exe. This goes directly to the original game menu without a browser or update check.
  4. Select Local Match in the game to set up maps, teams, and bots.

You can also choose Offline in the Laser League Revival.exe chooser, or click Play offline in the web launcher before opening an online session.

02 / Your settings and appearance

Online and offline use the same saved display, audio, controller, and customization settings. Change launcher settings in the web UI before starting offline play. Cosmetics changed in the native menu are saved locally and carried into online sessions.

Close the game normally when finished. Run only one session from a game folder at a time. You do not need a second copy of the assets for offline play.

03 / Big Picture and Steam

For a controller-only offline setup, add PlayOffline.exe as a non-Steam game. It skips the chooser and opens the native menu directly.
